RALEIGH – Poor field conditions in Newport News, Va., and at Wake Forest's J.B. Flaherty Park Field have disrupted Wake Tech's opening weekend plans. The field for Sunday's game remains unplayable with the recent drenching rains.

Instead, the Eagles will host an open Blue & Gold scrimmage at 7:15pm at Ting Field in Holly Springs.

Sunday night's scrimmage will be open to parents, fans, and the community.  Admission is free.

Per North Carolina COVID-19 procedures, attendance at Ting Park will be limited to 700. Fans at all games in North Carolina will be required to maintain social distancing and wear face coverings.

Student-athletes, coaches, and game personnel will be required to wear face coverings when not actively involved in competition.
