Wake Tech Cheerleader, Sarah Allevato can breathe a sigh of relief.  Her persistence on the court and in the classroom has been rewarded with the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship.

The highly competitive scholarship makes it possible for the nation's top community college students to complete their bachelor's degrees by transferring to a selective four-year college or university.  Only 45 scholarships are awarded each year out of thousands of applicants.  Sarah is one of only two recipients from the state of North Carolina.
