Wake Tech Eagles Co-ed Cheer and Mascot Team will be holding tryouts for its 2018-2019 season on Wednesday, August 22nd from 5 p.m.- 8 p.m. in the aerobics room in the Physical Education building (Building N, SOUTHERN WAKE CAMPUS 9101 Fayetteville Road Raleigh, North Carolina 27603 919-866-5000).
Candidates must have a doctor fill out and return the linked sports physical form in order to participate.
Prior cheer experience is required, and students must have applied to Wake Tech and plan to register for at least 6 credit hours.
Participants should dress in workout clothes and sneakers or cheer shoes and bring water. Cheerleaders who are already on the roster for 2018-2019 are required to attend as well.
For the tryout:
Learn 1 chant and 1 cheer of choice.
You must do a toe touch, jump of choice, and combination.You will be doing some group stunt-work, so prior stunting experience, as well as a physical, is required.
Tumbling is a bonus; however, it is not required.
