Wake Tech Esports prepping for championship run

RALEIGH, NC – The National Junior College Athletic Association Esports (NJCAAE) Fall regular season has come to an end and the postseason starts on November 9.

The Eagles' Rocket League team went through the regular season with an unblemished 7-0 record and will be the No. 1 seed heading into the postseason.  The Eagles won six games with 3-0 scores and only dropped one match to Hutchinson (KS) Community College winning 3-1.  The first round of postseason play starts on November 10 and the championship match is on November 17.  The Eagles will play Union College in the opening round.

In League of Legends, Wake Tech is also the top seed after finishing the regular season with a 5-0 record in NJCAAE. The postseason starts on November 11 and the championship game will be on November 18.

The Wake Tech Valorant team finished with a 4-3 record and enters postseason play as the fifth seed. The first round of the NJCAAE championship starts on November 9.  Wake Tech will play Bryant & Stratton (VA) College.

The Eagles varsity level teams compete in the East Division of the Premiere League of the NJCAAE.  The winner of the East will play the winner of the West for the NJCAAE national championship in select games.

Valorant
November 9: Round 1 (Wake Tech vs. Bryant & Stratton VA | 7pm) |Round 2 (8:30pm)
November 16: Final (8:30pm)
