Eagle Esports propelled into NJCAAE East Division Tournament Finals

RALEIGH, NC – Wake Tech's three National Junior College Athletic Association Esports (NJCAAE) Premier Series teams are set for their respective tournament finals starting on Tuesday, Nov. 14.

Valorant will take on our neighbors from Guilford Tech on Tuesday, Nov. 14 in the East Final.  The Eagles defeated Bryant & Stratton (VA) 2-0 and Union (NJ) County College 2-1 to reach the east championship. The Valorant team entered the tournament as the fifth seed.

Rocket League remains undefeated headed into the East Upper Final as the top seed. Wake Tech will play Lackawanna (PA) College on Friday, Nov. 17.  The winner of that game will play the winner of the Lower Final for the Grand Final. The Eagles defeated Union (NJ) County and State Tech (MO) to advance. 

Top-seeded League of Legends will play Onondaga (NY) in the East Final on Saturday, Nov. 18.  The Eagles had a bye in the opening round and defeated Guilford Tech in the second round to reach the East Final.

The winners of the East in each game will play the West for the NJCAAE Premier Series Fall National Championship starting in late November.
