"I'm so proud of the students and their accomplishments this season," said Wake Tech Esports Director Patrick McNair.  "They came together with a confidence, and a mission that they were the best team and just needed the opportunity to prove it. They deserved to win, and I am excited to see what's next for them."

Previously, the Eagles won the NJCAAE championship in Overwatch in Spring 2021 and captured the Fall 2022 Open Division Rocket League Championship.

Wake Tech's Rocket League team will also be playing for an NJCAAE Premier Series title on Friday, December 8. The Eagles will play Lackawanna (PA) Community College in the Upper Bracket Final. The winner directly advances to the Grand Final Championship.
