RALEIGH - Wake Technical Community College men's basketball coach Adam Wainwright announced that Michael Armstrong and Justus Baldwin were named First-team NJCAA Region 10 for the 2019-20 season.

Baldwin, a sophomore from Henderson, NC, is averaging 21.3 points and 4.7 rebounds per game this season for Wake Tech.  He is fifth in the region in scoring.

Armstrong, a sophomore from Knightdale, NC, averages 17.0 points and 9.4 rebounds per game for the Eagles.

"I could not be prouder of these two young men," said Wainwright. "This is an important recognition for their contributions to the team this year."

Kamron Humphrey (Knightdale, NC/Knightdale) earned honorable mention status. Humphrey averaged 12.6 points and 4.6 assists in his freshman campaign with the Eagles.

All-Region accolades are nominated and voted on by the head coaches within the region.

The Eagles opened up the NJCAA Region 10 Division II tournament on Thursday with a 93-91 victory over Pitt Community College.  Wake Tech will face top-seeded Davidson County Community College on Friday in the semifinals.
