Eagles knockoff fourth-ranked Davidson-Davie

RALEIGH, NC – Wake Technical Community College upset nationally ranked Davidson-Davie Community College 81-77 Tuesday night in the Eagle's 2021-22 home debut. DDCC (5-2) is ranked fourth in latest NJCAA DII national ranking. 

Four Eagles (3-1) scored in double figures led by Chance Jamison's 22 points.  Jamison connected on 4-of-5 three-point attempts and grabbed 11 boards.  Kamron Humphrey netted 18 points and Shayne Siago and Tireek Wilder each scored 16 points.

The Eagles jumped out to comfortable double-digit lead in the first half before the Storm's late second half flurry closed the gap to within two points, 38-36, at halftime.

DDCC's Uzziah Dawkins led all scorers with 24 points. Jaden Scriven scored 19 points as the Storm's other double-digit scorer.

Wake Tech returns to action on Saturday, December 4, at 3pm on the road against Fayetteville Tech.
