Wake Tech’s Jamison Commits to St. Augustine

Wake Tech men's basketball Chance Jamison signs with St. Augustine

RALEIGH, NC – Former Wake Tech men's basketball standout Chance Jamison will continue his education and athletic career at Raleigh's St. Augustine University.

For Wake Tech, Jamison averaged 12.7 points and 8.0 rebounds in his sophomore campaign with the Eagles.  Jamison, a 6-4 guard from Southeast Raleigh High School, transferred to Wake Tech for his sophomore season.

He scored a Wake Tech career high 24 points against Davidson Davie Community College on November 23, 2021.  He also snagged 11 rebounds in the Wake Tech upset of NJCAA No. 4 DDCC.  He had 11 games with double figure rebounds including 15 against Guilford Tech on Feb. 2.

"This is a great opportunity for Chance," said Wake Tech men's basketball coach Adam Wainwright. "He can make an immediate impact with St. Aug and get the opportunity to play for an outstanding coach in Chucky Brown."

SAU is a member of the NCAA DII and competes in the historic CIAA conference.
