RALEIGH, NC — Wake Tech Men's Basketball opens their season against Guilford Tech this Sunday, November 3. These two teams met to open the season last year, with the Eagles winning 87-74.
Sunday's opponent, Guilford Tech went 5-22 (2-20 conf.) Where they played at the NJCAA Division II level.
The Eagles come into the season returning three players from last year's team. Kayjay Harper a 6'4" forward who averaged 11.3 points per game and 9.4 rebounds per game, Trenten Gerald a 6'7" forward who averaged 6.0 points per game and 4.3 rebounds per game, and Joshua Stevenson a 6'1" guard who averaged 6.1 points per game. The Eagles look to build off their momentum from last year where they went 17-14 (10-6 conf.) in their first season at the NJCAA Division I level.
This season Wake Tech Men's Basketball home games will now have ticketed admission. General admission tickets are $10, with free entry for Wake Tech students, faculty, and staff with a valid Wake Tech ID and to guests 18 and under. Cash payment will not be accepted for tickets, card only.
Home games will also be live streamed on the Wake Tech Eagles YouTube channel.
