Wake Technical Community College Men's Soccer upset NJCAA #14 Patrick & Henry Community College on the Eagle's Sophomore Night.

Finley Mitchell netted the game's only goal unassisted in the 83rd minute to secure the upset victory. Logan Coyne and Alex Escamilla each recorded shots on goal for the Wake Tech.

With the win, Wake Tech improves to 4-3-1 overall and 4-3-1 in NJCAA Region 10 D2 games.  Meanwhile, Saturday night's loss was the first regional divisonal loss for Patrick & Henry (6-4; 6-1).

Frank Chavez, Javier Godoy, Hunter Baker, Bryson Webster, and Alex Escamilla played their final home game as a Wake Tech Eagle on Saturday.

Next up for Wake Tech is a semifinal game on Wednesday, October 27, against the second seed of the NJCAA Region 10 D2 division. Wake Tech secured the third seed and will play either at Louisburg College or Patrick & Henry.
