The Eagles traveled to Hickory, NC to square off against Catawba Valley, the 19th ranked team in the NJCAA, DII on Saturday, January 27th.

Wake Tech was tested early and often by the Red Hawks and found themselves trailing 44-35 at the halftime break.  After chiseling away at the deficit in the third quarter, Wake Tech ultimately gave way to relentless defense and sharp shooting from the Red Hawks.

Khadijah Daniels led all scorers with 33 points, DaShawna Smith added 10 points, Timia Grant contributed 10 points, and Myrayna Watkins came off the bench to score 12 points.

The Eagles will host Catawba Valley at home on Saturday, February 17th at 2:00pm.
