RALEIGH, NC - Wake Tech's Anna Vann became the first Eagle to score 1,000 career points in women's basketball.

Vann's accomplishment was set on Friday, February 25, during Wake Tech's 2021-22 regular season home finale against Fayetteville Tech.

She scored 496 points during her freshman campaign in 2019-20 that was cut short due to the COVID-19 global pandemic. Vann didn't compete in 2020-21 during COVID.

She was named First Team All-Region as a freshman in 2020.
