Eagles No. 11 seed for NJCAA Basketball Tournament

2022 Women's Basketball DII Basketball Tournament Bracket

RALEIGH, NC - Wake Tech Women's Basketball is headed to the 2022 National Junior College Athletic Association DII Tournament as the No. 11 seed.  The Eagles will face Mesa (Ariz.) Community College at 9am on Tuesday, March 15, at the St. Clair County Community College Fieldhouse in Port Huron, Mich. 

Wake Tech (25-2), ranked No. 12 in the final NJCAA poll, will tangle with the No. 6 seed Thunderbirds from Mesa. The 13th ranked Thunderbirds are 22-7 overall and have won their last nine straight games. 

In 2020, Wake Tech qualified for the tournament for the first time and was seeded No. 12. Unfortunately, the 2020 Tournament never happened due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Wake Tech will depart on Sunday, March 13, for Port Huron.
