Vann was named a First Team National Junior College Athletic Association Division II All-American and was selected the 2022 NJCAA Region 10 DII Women's Basketball Player of the Year during her sophomore season at Wake Tech.

"I would like to thank my family and Coach (Alison) Beasley for their unconditional support on and off the court," said Vann. "I'd also like to thank Wake Tech and my teammates for believing in me and finally thank you to all the coaches that put in all the work to help me get better."

During the 2021-22 campaign, Vann was eighth in the nation in points per game (21.6), fourth in the nation in total points (626), and fifth in assists per game (6.2).

Vann will play for former North Carolina State University standout Tynesha Lewis. She was a four-time All-ACC selection helping to lead the Wolfpack to the Final Four in 1998 and a Sweet Sixteen appearance in 2001.

ECSU is a member of the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) and competes at the NCAA DII level. During the 2021-22 season, the Vikings reached the championship game of the CIAA tournament and finished with a 21-7 record.
