Wake Tech Women's Basketball is set to begin the 2024-25 season on Friday evening against Albany Tech at a classic hosted by East Georgia State. The Eagles will play two games in two days, taking on the hosts Saturday afternoon before returning home. The team is coming off an 18-12 (15-9 conf.) season that saw them reach the quarterfinals of the Region 10 DII Tournament. 

Friday's opponents, the Albany Tech Titans, went 16-15 (9-9 conf.) a season ago, competing at the NJCAA DI level in Region 17. 

Friday's game marks the first under head coach Alonzo Lunsford. His roster contains four returning players, Destiny Mason, Colleen Klahn, Mariah Tucker, and Amyah Woodmore. 

The Eagles' home opener is Wednesday, November 6 at 5:00pm against Richard Bland.
