RALEIGH, N.C. — Wake Tech Women's Basketball hosts Louisburg on Saturday, February 8 at the Southern Wake Campus gym (Building N) for their annual Play4Kay game in partnership with the Kay Yow Cancer Fund. A portion of the ticket proceeds will be donated to the Kay Yow Cancer Fund, but fans can make additional donations here. The game is scheduled to tip off at 2:00 pm, and doors will open to fans at 1:00 pm. 

The Eagles have close ties to legendary coach Kay Yow. Wake Tech AD Robin Pate served as a member of Coach Yow's staff at NC State from 1995-2009. Pate also served as the director of Events and Partners and director of Community Development for the Kay Yow Cancer Fund. 

Wake Tech and Louisburg are currently tied at 5-7 in the conference standings, however both teams will play another game before their matchup this weekend. The first game between these two teams was back on November 23 at Louisburg, with the Hurricanes winning 81-57.
