The Eagles took care of a lively Rockingham team by a final score of 25-20, 25-5, 25-19. Emma Self had an outstanding match with 16 assists, 15 digs, 2 aces, and 2 kills. Erin Baggett added a match high 10 kills and only 1 error on 27 attempts.
Wake Tech's match against host Johnson & Wales was everything it was billed to be. A back-and-forth affair throughout reached its crescendo during the fourth set as Wake Tech played their longest winning set in history, eventually winning 34-32.
