Eagle Volleyball closes out September with pair of wins

RALEIGH, NC – Wake Tech Volleyball defeated USC Lancaster and Bryant & Stratton (VA) with two 3-0 victories on Saturday at the Conlon Hall gym.

In the first game, the Eagles defeated the Lancers in an out of conference match 25-18, 25-21, and 25-23.  Grace Covington recorded eight kills and Sophia Smallwood and Cicily Wallace each recorded six kills apiece. Jasmine Roberson had 12 assists for Wake Tech and Abby Carver added 10.  Marcy Oros had 16 digs.

In the second match, Wake Tech was victorious over the Bobcats 25-22, 26-24, and 25-21.  In the second set, the Eagles trailed 24-22 and rallied to score four straight points to help secure their 3-0 win.  Roberson had nine kills and eight digs. Carver had 16 assists and Roberson had 10. Oros had 18 digs.

The Eagles return to action on Tuesday when they host Cape Fear Community College at 6pm at Conlon Hall gym on the Scott Northern Wake Campus.
