RALEIGH, NC — Dr. Brittany McCoy has joined the Wake Tech Volleyball coaching staff as an assistant to head coach Liz Reif ahead of the 2024 season. McCoy brings a vast amount of playing and coaching experience, including 10+ years of playing at the club and collegiate level. 

McCoy began her coaching career with Jammers Volleyball Club in Durham, NC. During her first year with Jammers, she was name the club's "Coach of the Year."

Before beginning her coaching career, McCoy put together an illustrious playing career. She was twice named to the All-Conference team and Most Valuable Player at Overhills High School in Spring Lake, NC.  After graduating, she continued her playing career at Fayetteville State University and Methodist University. In 2011 she was named to the USA South Sportsmanship Team and was named a Methodist Scholar Athlete. McCoy graduated from Methodist University in 2014 with a B.S. in chemistry and a concentration in biochemistry. In 2020, she graduated from High Point University with a Doctor of Pharmacy and a Masters in Business Administration.
